Mango Processing

In Spore:

Currently, just 0.22% of mangoes produced worldwide are used for processing. Yet this versatile fruit lends itself to transformation into a wide variety of products. Unripe fruit can be used to make chutney and pickles. Ripe mangoes can be canned, frozen or made into purée for re-manufacturing into juice, squash, nectar and jam. Dried mango for use in fruit bars, muesli, snacks and baby foods has good potential, especially for Europe, which is the world's biggest market for these products.
