Kyarwakya United Carpentry received a small joinery kit in 2006 which has helped them achieve their phenomenal growth of 500% since their start. Of the seven men and two women members, three have built commercial houses and two have bought land. Not content with their own success, the group has opened a training centre for young people in the community to ensure the next generation of carpenters.
